Recital Inquiry

Thank you for your interest in holding your recital at First Congregational Church! We are delighted to be able to host many student recitals in our space and look forward to working with you regarding yours! Please take time to complete the form below, which helps us to streamline the inquiry and scheduling process. We will be back in touch in the next few days!

Our recital fee is $100 and includes a 90-minute dress rehearsal prior to your recital, as well as a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes on the day of your recital, which you may utilize as you see fit. All recital fees must be paid via ACH, debit, or credit card, unless special arrangements are made with Laura Gurney in the church office.

Please note our general availability:

Sunday afternoons: Generally open after 2pm

Mondays: Generally open

Tuesdays: Generally open

Wednesdays: Recitals must conclude by 4:30pm or begin after 7pm

Thursday: Recitals must conclude by 4:30pm. No evening recitals available.

Friday: Generally open all day

Saturday: Generally open all day

We schedule all recitals for 2 hours and 30 minutes, which gives you time for a 90-minute recital, as well as an hour to use for set up and tear down. How would you like to utilize your setup/tear down time?

45 minutes before your recital, 15 minutes after your recital 30 minutes before your recital, 30 minutes after your recital 1 hour before your recital, ending immediately following your 90-minute recital

Dress Rehearsal: What is your second choice date and time for your dress rehearsal? If you have no flexibility, please answer "no flexibility." (If you indicate no flexibility and are we are unable to accommodate your first choice, are glad to offer you recital space without a dress rehearsal. Please note our general availability at the top of the page.)

Will you need access to any of the following for your recital?

Piano Organ (Organist must be approved by the Church; Kati Rittner, Katie Hughes, and Keenan Boswell regularly accompany recitals and are pre-approved.) First Congregational Church strongly prefers that you pay your recital fee via ACH, debit, or credit card. Once your booking is finalized, we will send an invoice via email for you to pay. Payment is due no later than 1 week prior to your dress rehearsal. Are you able to make payment via ACH, credit, or debit card?
